D/deaf people with other disability/ties

Let explore other areas where there are people who are Deaf with other disability.

In the Deaf community, most D/deaf/Hard of Hearing people often don’t realise that D/deaf people with other disability are not the same to them. Many D/deaf people with disabilities faced a real struggle in their lives, getting around the house, going to work or shopping, the lack of transport or communicate in sign language. They are lucky to gain support funding from the organisation while D/deaf people struggle or gain no support funding.

I know several D/deaf people with disabilities here and I work/support them whenever they need helps, to learn in sign language or just to talk over a cuppa.
What I have D/deaf people with other disabilities, I work with are: –
A deaf woman with CP (cerebral palsy) in a wheelchair,
a deaf elderly man with CP and speech impaired,
Deaf people who are blind (Deafblind),
physical disability persons who have hearing reduced and speech impaired/non-verbal communicate,
learning disabilities people who have hearing impaired and physical disability,
a Deaf man with CP,
and most of all, health problems such as heart murmur, enlarged heart, diabetes, strokes, arthritis, dementia/amnesia, and wearing glasses.

Really these people are part of the Deaf community, but not all are included in the Deaf community – sadly. It is vital to involved D/deaf people with other disabilities in the Deaf community and respects them equal to other people out there.
