Update: Despite the significant setback of the hacking incident in February-March 2024, the Deaf History International and New Zealand Meta Page have shown remarkable resilience and determination in their recovery, serving as a beacon of inspiration for all.

Books on loan

We must address this blog, which has been made public, to point out that the company’s failure to comply with accessibility guidelines is a significant issue. It is called discriminated against the Human Rights Conversation on Persons with Disabilities (United Nations) and USA Disability Act Law.

It has been eight months, and the company has been unwavering in its efforts towards recovery. Once the payment is completed, this company in Texas, USA, will hand the account over to me. Jean’s account was successfully returned via Meta for recovery from the hacker. Unfortunately, in the end, the company kept more payments after my questions were about the final payment, and they said yes, and this is the final payment. But they keep doing this, which makes me very suspicious. Some excellent ex-IT staff told me about the price to pay for the recoverable and Meta repayment to my account. They were disappointed that the company did not provide a budget plan, quote price or a list of payments in the first place. They believed the company was advantageous to taking my finance of the project away until Meta started repayment, and the company did not show remorse for my health issues and financial recession as deaf with disabilities 60 years author/researcher. They declined to wavie the last payment or act as generous to remove payment as in good-faith if soneone like me struggling to eaise money. One thing that appalling was telling me to ask my friends or staff for more money as loans. I don’t need that because we are in overdraft accounts. It is called ableism.

One good thing was a couple of ex ITs technical services were offered one off small payments under US$500 only and the rest on good faith generous cost nothing. It was a bit late.

Due to Government cuts and recessions in New Zealand and worldwide, no other funding was available. My donation companies were aware of these issues. There is no human service through the Meta Support Desk, and I heard many stories from other disabled people who said there was no human service to contact them.

However, this left me with two options: no meta page—Deaf History International and New Zealand—or continuing with another domain site with a security lock without using meta sharing so I could continue to focus on my health improvement and do volunteer research without pay. The previous Facebook page had more than 300 followers, which wasn’t very reassuring.
